Samsung has announced that they will be releasing the I5800 Galaxy 3 in Germany. It’s good to see that with so much of their attention on the Galaxy S here in the states and in the UK, they’re not forgetting to provide other areas with mid-range choices as well as the high-end devices. The Galaxy 3 will ship at the end of this month with Android 2.1 and a 3.2-inch HVGA screen, with the standard Google features, and will support a 32GB microSD card and a 3.2 megapixel camera. . No mention of processor speed or memory, but at 299€ (about $386 in USD), it seems to be aimed at the midrange market.
Glad to see Samsung continuing to branch out, and it’s always good to see carriers continue to commit to the Android platform. The more Android phones on the market, the more we all win.
