Android Ice Cream Sandwich To Have Native Photo Editor

The folks over at androidpolice seem to have found a few icons pointing to a photo editor within the Android gallery app for the upcoming ICS update. While they’re not 100% to be in the next version of everyone’s favorite operating system, they do bring up the point that a lot of work went into something just for it to be discarded. A few effects are shown after the break, and the tool icons can be found in the source. Who else can’t wait for tomorrow night?

Finally good to see that Google is adding this functionality to it’s line. But I just hope that it is done in a way that doesn’t make it just another App to take off the phone.

Like anyone would want to ADD grain to their photos? Native camera software adds enough noise and grain on it’s own! When will someone offer noise REDUCTION and sharpening features to their phones???

    Can…. not…. wait….

I’m really hoping a GSM Phone w/ a Keyboard comes out soon with ICS. I would totally snatch the Nexus Prime but sadly it’s got No Keyboard..
