Samsung won’t be the only manufacturer to have a stock Android Ice Cream Sandwich device in 2011

Our favorite Panda (@black_man_x) is at it again, giving us tips and clues to what’s coming soon. He sent out three particularly interesting tweets tonight about Android Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS):

  1. If I told you that the Galaxy nexus is not the only one… Just the samsung one.. How you love that moto, HTC fans?? #justsaying
  2. Meaning that those that do not prefer Sammy hardware will not have long to wait for ICS hardware from other partners..
  3. All I can say is this… Sammy will not be the only ics stock device by year end.. #fridaybombdroppin #pandanation #sneakypanda

This is a good as any inside information anyone can get. If you look at the hints, the other manufacturer(s) are probably either or both Motorola and HTC. We know HTC has the Rezound coming up and Motorola has the RAZR, which will be announced this Tuesday. Could either of those devices be stock ICS? Actually, I think I prefer Vanilla Ice Cream Sandwich.

One other thing to point out is his choice of wording which is “device” instead of phone. He could be implying a tablet, and Motorola has two XOOM 2 tablets on the way.

Stay tuned because the 4th quarter could be the most exciting time for Android ever.

Even if this is true and these three companies make a stock android phone, im still going to buy the Samsung nexus prime. I’ve owned Motorola phones and tablet, also currently own an HTC sensation, so its time for a Sammy either way lol I love super amoled screens, the phone will be light weight, and ICS, can’t get better then that.
