According to Boy Genius Report, they have word from insider sources that regular shipments of the Droid X are heading out to local Verizon stores in order to keep any issues with the newly expected ship date on their website at bay. Our suggestion? Call up your local store, and ask if they have any in stock, or are expecting any shipments soon, and when. Who knows? With all the local stores handing out phones early, it’s not a stretch to think one could get some insider info on shipment dates.
