The folks over at QuickOffice were hanging around CTIA this week and were extremely pleased to reveal a new update to the popular and widely used office application for Android. The new QuickOffice 5.0 will offer new features to compliment both smartphones and tablets. We can expect a ton of UI tweaks and the new ability to share your work with friends and colleagues on Twitter, Facebook and even LinkedIn. In addition, they have added some other welcomed add-ons such as popular note taking apps like Catch and Evernote. The fine folks at QuickOffice say the software update can be expected around mid-November at its original launch price. As a major fan and user of QuickOffice myself, I highly look forward to using the productivity application on both my tablet and smartphone.
