Gameloft is giving away free copies of Let’s Golf to all owners of the Evo and Nexus One. Let’s Golf is a popular Android golfing game (go figure!) that boasts 63 holes in 4 distinct locations and multiple characters to play, each with his own strengths and weaknesses. Used your link, the site comes up fine and it recognized that I have a nexus one but that game isn’t there.

Visit the site via that link from your computer and you should a box in the upper-right corner asking for your phone number to get your free copy.

sad sad. wanted the game.. with my swiss phone number i don’t get the game?

All went well….until you are required to download an URL….OK, as it was only 22 KB. Then when game was installed, and I opened it, it required me to download a very large (around 50 MB, as I recall–about the amount of space that I had left on my phone) file to play it. Could not tell if it would go to my SD card, as the game installed on my Nexus One (running Froyo) and could not be moved to the SD card. So, I uninstalled it all without ever playing it.
Thanks for letting us know about it, though….nice thought while it lasted….for about a minute.

That’s one of the criticisms of Gameloft’s games — their distribution model needs work. I would assume that this free giveaway is to engender some positive feelings toward the company, and it’s a nice gesture, but I feel that it may just serve to point out they issues they have to more people.
But, if it leads to a fix of their distribution, it’ll be a win. We can hope.

Hello I have already been on the lookout for most of the optimum golf irons designed for my level of play, typically the pingirons seem to be costly for me now but if I’m able to find the best second hand set for the best sum I’ve got to pay that would be wonderful. Inform us that which brand names work best for the tolerable price . thanks
