Those of you who have been looking forward to the release of an android tablet from HP may feel the taste of disappointment on your tongues. It is being reported that sources familiar with the development of the tablet are saying it has been delayed, so won’t be hitting its intended released date of before the end of this year.
That might not come as too much of a surprise considering HP’s purchase of Palm recently, along with the intention to put considerable resources behind WebOS marketing and development. The speculation that we might not see an android tablet at all from HP seems like a pretty sound guess. It’s a good thing that plenty of other tablet options have been surfacing, though a well thought out product could have spiced up the competition with a certain other tablet device somewhat.
