HTC, manufacturers of the EVO 4G, Nexus One and Droid Incredible are expected to launch six new devices in the US and Europe, which could bump shipments in the fourth quarter to 8.5 million units. While not all of these 8.5 million devices will be Android phones, T-Mobile will roll out two HTC-produced phones, the Vanguard and Emerald. The Vanguard is scheduled to be released around September and the Emerald should appear around November.
