Word is that you’ll see the device sold for $379 when it is made available later this month. Let’s give the specs a look:

  • Runs Android 3.2
  • Dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor

  • Front 2MP camera/ 5MP rear cam
  • 8GB of internal storage

This will be THE tablet to avoid this year! If you own, or have owned a g-tab, then you know just how poorly they support their hardware. I just hope they don’t put that tapntap crap on it. Worst ui ever!

usd $379, will there be 3G in it or just wifi and bluetooth, iam eagerly waiting for this tablet to hit the market

      No 3G. I emailed Viewsonic… see below.

      Does it still have phone
capability and internet through a sim card (I have T-Mobile), albeit slow
non-3g-internet?  Also, would 3G be a feature that is somehow
added/unlocked/updated on the 7x?  Or would it have to be in a new tablet
      released later?

      Sorry

It will be wifi only and at this time there are no plans for 3g or
4g tablets in the U.S market.

      Sincerely,
