Amazon 10-inch Tablet Could Ship By 2011 Year’s End

According to a DigiTimes report, Amazon may begin shipping a 10.1-inch tablet by year’s end thanks to a deal with the Taiwan-based Foxconn Electronics, who will produce the devices. Foxconn has had a long-term relationship will Amazon as thier contractor for the Kindle e-reader, though they recently passed on Amazon’s 7-inch Kindle Fire as they completed iPad orders for Apple (Quanta Computer then picked up the Kindle Fire contract instead).

No solid details on specs have surfaced yet, however this little gem is still worth keeping an eye on as we approach the holiday season.
