AT&T Interested In Google Android

att-google-android.jpgAT&T who were initially absent from the long list of mobile technology companies that supported Android in the beginning have now thrown their hat into the ring.

AT&T have announced their plans to offer phones running the Google Android platform - after being assured by Google that the company won't be locked into only offering Google applications on the device.

It s reported that at this week's CTIA wireless conference in Las Vegas, AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega was assured by Google that AT&T would be able to customize Android devices with any applications they saw fit.
