It appears that the most hyped phone since the EVO 4G has received yet another OTA update. I know what you are thinking, no it is not Froyo, it is still 2.1 update-1. The update is from 1.13.516 to 1.13.604, and no noticeable changes have been found yet, as well as no change log has been released (presumably because the device has not been officially launched yet).

Did you preorder a Droid X and get it early? Tell us in the comments if you notice any changes! [via: droidlife]

I know what most acronyms mean. . . but what is OTA? Be gentle with me, I’m an old person: )>

    That’s alright! :D
OTA means “Over the Air”, for example downloading something OTA is like downloading it over 3G.

I am so glad Verizon finally has a smart phone that can compete with the iphone. I love the Verizon network, but the phones just couldn’t compete for a long time, no “coolness factor”. They finally have a smart phone that I want, I hope I can get mine on Thursday..
