Not in cruelty, not in wrath, EOLs leaked today; the Kyocera and Evo 4G, Sprint has planned to slay.
Ladies and gentleman, tonight we bring sad news. As evidenced by the photo above six phones have been discontinued this evening, two of which are our own; the Kyrocera Echo and the Evo 4G. We remember the Evo 4G having had a long wonderful life; reaching a ripe old age of one and a half years. In that time it was able to win the hearts and minds of many an Android user. The poor Echo however has left us a mere 5 months young, and was looked upon as an outcast by many of the community for its unique dual screen architecture. The world wasn’t ready for you Echo!
While we mourn the loss of these prominent Android devices and pray they may be recycled correctly, we should also find room for happiness. From the plastic and metal of old will rise the shiny new stuff. Customers will again shout ”Shut up and take my money!” and it will be a joyous occasion.
