LG continues to stay in the Android race with their mid-to-upper based phones. Their next step into the world of slider phones: The LG Optimus Q2. While the phone’s simple 5 MP rear camera and VGA front camera may not impress you too much, some of its other specs are nothing short of cutting edge. LG assures us that the phone is slimmer and lighter than all other slider phones in its class. Tack on the 1.2 GHz Tegra , a 4 inch IPS LCD screen, and Android 2.3 you’ve got yourself quite a device here. The device is expected to launch in South Korea within the next month. Unfortunately, there’s no news yet of when LG plans to bring the device stateside. Rumor has it the device will be coming to Sprint.
