It has been a very long wait, but it’s finally over. The Samsung Galaxy S II is now available in the United States at Sprint online and at stores. We already know the new, and not necessarily improved name, is the Sprint Epic 4G Touch. It’s priced at $199.99 on a 2-year contract or $499.99 off contract. Check out our hands-on at the Samsung event.

There’s also been reports of some stores selling them yesterday. Anyone grab one yet?

I ordered my Samsung Epic a few hours ago and now I just have to be patient in waiting for it to get here! This has to be one of the coolest phones ever! Plus, since it has 4G and a dual-core processor, there should be more than enough speed to download and stream effortlessly. Plus, since it is a Galaxy SII phone, it will be great judging by the reviews. I use the DISH Remote Access app on my Galaxy S and it is awesome! It lets me stream live TV from my 922 SlingLoaded receiver to my phone anywhere I am! As a customer and employee of DISH Network, I have been using this app for a long time, and once my new phone gets here, it will be awesome on it!
