Earlier today we brought you news on the new Android Gingerbread powered handheld music player, the Sony Walkman Z, and now we have a video preview showing it off. Sony decided to go with a completely different UI, specifically designed for this device. It appears to be very smooth and is visually appealing. A “W” button on the side allows you to change songs without taking it out of your pocket.
It is not clear what kind of “Android experience” these devices will have as far as homescreens and widgets, but the Android Market is included as well as a browser. It will launch in Japan on December 10th and you will have your choice of black or red. Pricing will be ¥28,000 ($364), ¥33,000 ($429), and ¥43,000 ($559), in respect to your choice of 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB.
