Another Best Buy document surfaces, shows Samsung Prime, but no Thunderbolt 2

Last night we showed you a leaked photo of a document showing upcoming Verizon Wireless phones along with what phone they were replacing. It was taken by a Best Buy Mobile employee, and the document was handed out by a Verizon rep. Some people might consider it a fake because of some misspellings, but interestingly enough, another Best Buy document has surfaced that is showing similar information, but in a different format.

The spelling is okay, but it doesn’t prove anything. This time Samsung is spelled out for the Samsung Prime (instead of SAM), and it still shows as replacing the DROID Charge. A notable exception is the Thunderbolt 2. For whatever reason it is omitted, but I don’t think it means that it won’t be launching soon. If both of these documents are real, than it’s obvious that each rep or district is making their own copies. It is possible that this rep made their copy before the Thunderbolt 2 (or Vigor) was clear.

I do find it interesting that the Bionic is on this list, and not on the other. It is obviously not replacing anything, nor will it be replaced anytime soon. I think it is on the list to show it as a new release much like the Pantech Breakout, which also isn’t replacing anything. This is further proof that this list was created way before last night’s leak.

Rumor also has it that this may be an internal employee “trust” test trying to weed out the bad eggs. Only time will tell! Fingers crossed x
