Budget conscious Android phone LG Optimus Hub announced

Last month we brought you news about the upcoming release of the Optimus One successor. At that time it was referred to as the Optimus Univa. An official announcement was made for the device but this time LG refers to it as the Optimus Hub.

Although rocking a new name, the specs are virtually the same. With the younger generation and affordability in mind, the mid range device features a single-core 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 3.5-inch HVGA (480×320) display, five-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, 1,500mAh battery and Wi-Fi direct. It will first land in Europe in October for €199 unlocked, which is about $270. Unfortunately there is no word as to when it will arrive in the states.
