Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray Coming to Orange UK; Black And White Options

by Harold Williams
tagged , ,

Sony Ericsson’s Xperia Ray has been added to Orange UK’s line up in a black and white flavor, coming soon. If you need a refresher, the Ray has a 3.3-inch display with the Mobile Bravia Engine, a 1GHz processor,  a 8 MP camera with Exmor R sensor, and Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) to boot. I’m still waiting to get my hands on Ericsson’s sexy little devices to check one out. Ericsson also said there would be gold and pink models. Anyone waiting to get their hands on one of these?

Spent a little time playing with this phone, and it’s awesome! Sony Ericsson are really coming into their own in the smartphone market. Rather than release a bunch of phones that are all basically identical, they have a nice variety, from the small (Xperia Mini) to the large (Arc), and every one of them is rocking a 1Ghz processor. Not too shabby at all! The Ray may be my favorite one so far, as it’s small enough to easily fit in a pocket, but still has a WVGA screen – nice!
