Since the announcement of HTC’s collaboration with Beats by Dr. Dre, everyone has been trying to figure out what the first device will be that supports it. Could it be the Vigor, or the newly leaked Runnymede? It really doesn’t matter because HTC will no doubt implement it in every high end device. Now we are hearing that they plan on updating the Sensation which will include Beats support.
It will be dubbed the HTC Sensation Special Edition, and it will include a faster CPU (1,5GHz) , more internal storage (4GB), and a higher-capacity battery (1730mAh). Of course, it will have better audio and include a really nice set of headphones.
The slide shows a price of a whopping £520 which equates to $847. A typical pair of Beats headphones retails for $119 so the price might be high, but not surprising.
Is anyone excited to pay this kind of money for a phone?
