Rogers is bringing LTE to Toronto and confirms Samsung Galaxy S II LTE

Today Roger’s annouced that their LTE network will go live  for Toronto on September 28th.  Toronto will be the second of four cities to receive LTE following Ottawa, with Montreal and Vancouver being added by the year’s end. Currently, Roger’s only LTE device is the Sierra Wireless Rocket Stick (AirCard 313U), but that’s about to change. Rogers revealed that five LTE devices will be available by the end of the year, which include the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S II LTE, Sierra Wireless AirCard754S, a yet to be named LTE enabled tablet, and an LTE HTC phone.

No word yet on monthly plan pricing for these smartphones, but huge news regardless!
