Does your Nexus S voice search get stuck on? Does it just spontaneously activate? If so, you are not alone. This is a known bug, affecting the 850/1900/2100 MHz Nexus S, offered in Canada and on AT&T in the States. Reports of the issue have been appearing since May, but no fix has come.
Yesterday, a Google employee addressed the issue in the Google support forums, stating:
We plan to release an over-the-air update this week which includes a fix for this bug. I’ll post again once the OTA starts.
In the case of the Nexus, I guess bug fixes came second to getting the latest and greatest features.
