Although we come across a press release of a new WiFi device from Three UK that will be the first to feature HSPA+ in the UK, which of course is pretty cool, there’s more. A small bit of information that the press release seemed to have not considered very noteworthy, other than to grace the news with a little blurb at the bottom.

Three UK breifly points out that they plan to have “80% of its network upgraded to HSPA+ by the end of this year, with the rest following soon afterwards”. Take a look at the press release. Right there at the bottom, see it?

If Three UK actually hits this target of 80% HSPA+ coverage, it can actually surpass its UK competition, such a couple other carries like Vodafone and O2. This is great news for those currently on Three UK, who can now look forward to Three UK living up to what they said, and improving their customers network.
