It is far from exciting to report that a phone is getting updated to Android 2.2 Froyo, but I am sure it is exciting for Motorola Flipside owners. Motorola has finally made the update available, but unfortunately it is not an automatic download. There is one extra step in that you will have to download the file to your microSD card.
Just hit the source link to get the download link and full instructions from Motorola. I seriously doubt this phone will ever see Gingerbread, so hopefully Froyo will keep you happy until you grab a new phone.
