On the US side, AdMob had previously reported in Dec 2009 that Android requests consisted of 27% of all smartphone requests, with iPhone having around 53%.  RIM had 10% at the time.  If the numbers can be trusted, it implies that both Android and iPhone are growing market share at RIM&#039;s expense (this is no surprise considering RIM&#039;s crappy browser experience and lack of competitive touch screen device).</description>
