Samsung halts TouchWiz UX update for Galaxy Tab 10.1 to “ensure it’s a positive experience”

There could be a major bug with the TouchWiz UX update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 because they have halted it in order to “assess progress and ensure it’s a positive experience for customers.”

There have been some reports that some users are experiencing scrambled graphics which make their Tab completely unusable. There could be other issues, but for now no updates are being pushed. We will let you know more as soon as we find out.

I liked the update at first. Seemed to fix all of my annoyances, but then have found it to have drastically slowed down my tablet. Also none of the cool widgets update automatically. What’s the point of a Facebook or Weather widget that I have to hit the refresh button every time I turn on the Tablet?
