Just around the beginning of this month we told our TalkAndroid readers of an Xperia Arc update that was available. That one was pushing out some audio, video enhancements, themes and a new landscape mode. So now you’re probably wondering what this update consists of?

Well, its the exact same thing. Apparently Sony Ericsson’s support site was a little early on the announcement. This update is going out to all European Xperia Arc phones. You can get this update by connecting your Arc to your computer and using the PC Companion software. Or just go to ‘About Phone’ under ‘Settings’ and hit the ‘Software Update’.

Again here is the list of enhancements you can expect:

+ Firmware looks stable enough…I hope the reset problem will now be gone for good.

    - Really to bad Sony automatically installes a lot of unwanted programs (Xperia Hotspots, de.arvatom (whatever that may be), Extention Search, Get Games, Update Centre, Wisepilot, some other sports app, some ‘apps’ that just links to Market to get paid stuff)
Uninstalling will take some time again…sigh!

Are there any known issues or bugs with this firmware? Should i go ahead and upgrade my Xperia firmware?
