T-Mobile UK are planning to reduce the cost of owning the G1 handset for the second time since it's release in October.
T-Mobile's first ever January sale will see the Android G1 reduced from £35 per month to just £31.50 with free handset.
Just last month T-Mobile announced they were knocking £10 off the monthly contract charge and bundling the G1 with a free 8GB SD card.
Other January T-Mobile reductions will include:
- Samsung Omnia - Was £90, now FREE on Combi 30
- Samsung U900 - Was £69.99, now FREE ON Combi 30
- Sony Ericsson C902 - Was £107.65, now FREE ON Combi 20

Er, the ad T-Mobile ad on this very page is selling the G1 at £30 a month already – it has been for the last couple of weeks. For that you get the 1400 SMS or 700 minutes, unlimited internet and the phone with an 8Gb card – all on an 18 month contract.

I’m pretty sure this is coming from third party retailers… who will be able to sell the phone from January trying to put people off buying before Xmas.
The only ones offering the phone now are more expensive that direct from T-Mobile.
