LG is on a roll and looking to bring their numbers up a bit with the continuation of innovative handsets, both high-end and entry level. A few weeks back we mentioned the announcement and release of the Optimus Net and Optimus Pro, with LG showing no signs of slowing down as they release what appears to be T-Mobile’s version of the Gelato, also known as the Net. It appears as though the two devices are one and the same with the model number LG-P699 attached to it. It’s been awhile since we’ve heard about the Galato, not since T-Mobile’s road map leaked back in May. Note the backside of the device. It resembles the Optimus Net greatly only sporting a colorful back plate and T-Mobile labeling.
What should we expect to see with this device? Glad you asked. Expect to see a 3.2 HVGA display, a 1500 mAH battery, Gingerbread 2.3 and an 800 MHz cpu. In addition, it’ll have 512 MB’s of RAM making this little guy a budget friendly device packing a scrappy little attitude as far as its capabilities go. Don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments below. Hit the break for another shot of the device with the T-Mo branding along with its front and backside exposed.
