The release date for the UK version of the HTC EVO 3D has caused some ripples in the water. No real explanation has been given as to why the 3D device from HTC has been pushed back to September. But what we do know is that, Vodafone has decided to drop the EVO 3D from their line-up of Android devices. Vodafone, without hesitation had no problem giving us their reason for dumping the device.
We can confirm that due to delays in the launch of the HTC EVO 3D, we no longer intend to include the device in our smartphone range. We’ll be contacting any customers who registered their interest shortly.
Well it seems there is nothing to be done. So forget all about the possibility of getting your hands on it this month. HTC has confirmed that the device will be available with the following statement:
We can confirm that the HTC EVO 3D will be available to UK customers through Carphone Warehouse from September 2011.
I’m sure HTC has definitely disappointed a number of excited users. Hopefully they get things on track, and get this device to their UK customers in September as quoted above.
