Verizon HTC Droid Incredible gets new shipping date

Some of you may have heard that Verizon will be dropping the Droid Incredible, but fear not! Verizon has made it clear that there are no plans to drop this wonderful phone. But why hasn’t yours shipped, you may ask? Well, from the looks of it, the shipping delays are due (most likely) to the screen availability issues that HTC has been dealing with concerning the Incredible. But, it looks like those issues may be ironed out, and if your order is placed today, your new Droid Incredible should ship on July 27th. No word yet on the back orders, but stay tuned, and you’ll know as soon as we do.

I ordered my phone on 6/6/2010. It is 6/29/2010 and as of today I have not received the phone. I contacted the VZ customer support center and was informed that no tracking number has been issued and that the manufacturer has put an additional 5 day delay on my shipping date. I was told that I would have to call in 5 days if the phone hasn’t arrived to check the status.

I forgot to mention that I was told the phone would be shipped 6/28/2010.

I was told my phone would be here on the 24th of june, and it is now June 29th and I called verizon and they said it would be not be until around July 7th untill I get my phone. I’m getting pretty mad considering I ordered it June 7th

I ordered (at local Verizon store) the HTC Incredible on 6/5. At the time shipping date was estimated at 6/25. I’ve called the store 3 times since 6/22 and gotten no information other than “we don’t yet have a shipping date”. Finally called the 800 number and was told the following:

The delay is currently running around 7 days. Your phone should ship around 7/2. We’re also sending a $25 gift card because of the delay.

I pre-ordered my Incredible and it was delivered on launch day. I love the phone. I’m just concerned that VZW is going to push everyone to Droid X and Incredible will not get the love it deserves.

From what I know, the problems are not VZW’s but HTC’s. VZW is delivering the message to customers that HTC has given them, then HTC does not deliver.

I ordered my Incredible the first week of June and got it 2 days later in the mail very happy about that, but I ordered through my company and didn’t have to deal w/ the back order issues. Thank goodness! I’m so in love w/ my phone!

Let me tell all you guys one.I ordered my phone on 06/09 and then I called this past sunday and was told that it would be sent out 6/30. called on 6/30 and was told I dont have an order and it was put they were going to order it. She stated that she has never seen a note like that on a file before. After a wow factor and about to say forget it she gave me tons of credit 175 total and wont get it until 7/27. “NOW THAT SUCKS”

I finally received a shipping notification on 6/30 and received the actual phone on 7/1.

Received my Incredible a month ago. It was not very Incredible. Poor battery time about 10 calls and 30 minutes of emailing drained 80% of the battery. Lousy display unusable in daylight. Can’t voice dial with bluetooth.

I returned it.
