Gizmodo has posted what they are calling an “idiot-proof guide” for those with the Evo who may be wanting root access.  I’ll let them worry about the disclaimers of voided warranties and the potentials risks of rooting your device — you probably know all that anyway.  But if you’re needing a little help getting some of those rooted apps on your Evo, head over there and check out their guide.
