Google Android Custom PC Case Mod

google-android-custom-pc.jpg PC enthusiast and Google Android fan Eric Burke has created his very own Android inspired custom PC.

This fully functional PC includes a JetWay Mini ITX motherboard with a Via C7 CPU, 1GB RAM, 10,000 RPM 74 GB Raptor and runs on Ubuntu 7.10.

The cover is a 12″ steel hemisphere (yes, you can order ANYTHING online). I had to cut out the holes, sand, and paint; painting was the hardest part of this project. All of the wires come out through the holes in the bottom, which is a circular piece of MDF.

The antennas are borrowed from a Linksys router and aren’t currently a functionable part of the PC, still we can’t think of a better way to work on your Android Applications then on this Android flavoured custom PC. Nice work Eric!

Very cool. Am I the only one who thinks a wifi card should be rigged up with an extender to make the antennas funtional?

What I love about blog articles is that often they provoke an idea in my head. The moment that happens, I feel like I need to provide feedback with the hope it’s valuable to others.manyalong with I find myself coming back to to your site because you have many impressive insights, that’s very impressive and tells me you know your stuff.ideas
