With CyanogenMod making its way to over 500,000 devices, it was only a matter of time before we saw the custom ROM hit one of the most powerful devices in the industry. That’s right, The Samsung Galaxy S II is going to get a little visit from the CyanogenMod 7 Nightlies fairy. A while back, Sammy sent the CyanogenMod team some devices for the sole purpose of loading that bad boy up on it. As they say, “ask, and you shall receive“. So, if you’re in the market for a new and powerful smartphone, definitely check out the SGII and when you’re bored or Samsung “forgets” to update the device, you’ll always have Cyanogen.
