EVO 3D Optmius 3D

Rogers Wireless is about to unleash the first 3D smartphones to hit Canada with the launch of the HTC EVO 3D and the LG Optimus 3D. Pricing hasn’t been released, nor has a specific launch date, but no doubt like many other new smartphones, they’ll both be priced around $99.99 at launch with a new three year contract.

The HTC EVO 3D has a 4.3inch qHD display touchscreen with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The LG Optimus 3D (also known at AT&T as the LG Thrill 4G) has a 4.3inch screen as well with a dual-core processor, dual memory and dual channel, all running Android 2.2 Froyo. Both smartphones have dual 5 megapixel cameras on the backside.

I am very happy to see two 3d phones. :)

Note: even though both have 4.3 inch screen. due to screen aspect ratio, LG Optimus 3d’s screen is actually larger (in terms of area) than HTC Evo 3d.
