Gingerbread for HTC Desire to be rolling out by end of July

In a post by HTC on their official Facebook page, the Taiwanese Android phone manufacturer has some good news for their Desire users:

“Hi everyone. We have more news about our build of Gingerbread for Desire. Our testing has gone well so we will begin rolling out the update by the end of July! Thank you again for your support!”

Great news! Hopefully HTC can stay on target with this estimate. What do you think? Be sure to sound off in the comments!

What about the update to Gingerbread for the HTC Thunderbolt? When will that come out?

Really, great news! Even though it’ll take months for Vodafone to push it to their customers but I guess if you’ve already waited this long, these last months won’t matter.
