Motorola Defy updating to Android 2.2 with T-Mobile UK beginning July

It may have taken a long while for T-Mobile UK to roll out Android 2.2 Froyo to Motorola Defy owners in the UK, but it will happen finally, starting in the beginning of July. Heh, I know, that ‘very specific date’ wouldn’t lend much confidence for me either. That said, it has been made know via Twitter, so….it must be true!

Android 2.2 will improve the battery life most of all for T-Mobile UK Defy owners, as well as Apps to SD functionality, Adobe flash support, auto-updating apps, and a much more fluent UI in general. Look for it starting this weekend hopefully, you know, on account of the ‘specific date’ they tweeted above.

Update doesn’t work. The so called ‘files’ you speak of don’t help with the update.

I downloaded Motorola Software Update and it doesn’t work.
