
If you happened to miss our coverage of the Droid X event today, then you also missed a great Android stat. Andy Rubin, VP of Engineering for Google said today that there are 160,000 Android phones activated every day. That’s a heckuvalotta (yes that word is made up) Android devices finding new homes every day. Allow me to do the math for you.
191 days left in 2010 x 160,000 Android devices per day = 30,560,000
Now if only Google would push out that Froyo update already… (Releasing the source code means we’re almost there though)
