Considering the launch package was advertised as an offer, and then they changed their offer in less than a month T-Mobile are moving close to breaking consumer laws here in the UK.
And it’s a bit of a cheek for us early adopters – as T-Mobile, to prepare the advertising to be put out, must have known they would be dropping the price so soon.

Will us who signed up last month be able to change our tariff from the £40 down to the £30 or are we stuck?

I would imagine we will be stuck paying £40 pcm as we were early adopters of the product (Mine ordered at 09:00 launch day).

On the day of the UK release I bought a G1 on a 30 pounds per month tariff with a minimum 12 month contract period and the ‘phone for free.
These tariffs have ALWAYS been available, you just had to ask at the T-Mobile store for them.

I just received mine on Saturday from t-mobile UK.
I was informed that only the white model came with the 8GB card, (which mine did) however, they still don’t seem to be shipping in the UK with a 3.5mm – mini USB stereo adapter.
