We already have the T-Mobile Samsung Sidekick 4G, but could there be another one on the horizon? Leaked images of a new Sharp phone, running Android, show it with a slide-up screen and small rounded keys that resemble a Sidekick.
Rumors have this device with a 3.2-inch (480 x 320) display, Wi-Fi, and a GPS. Since Sharp has built plenty of Sidekicks before this would not be surprising, but it is unlikely because the connectivity is 850/1900 UMTS. It was originally thought that this phone would be destined to T-Mobile, but it will probably end up on AT&T. It is also missing some standard Sidekick features. Stay tuned.
