That was done years and years ago. In fact most gestures for multitouch have been around for 2 decades. Apple does however own the patent on the way their hardware detects more than one touch. This was bought from a small company several years ago. I just wonder why HTC can create the screen capable of MT without breaking patents, but Google cannot create the software to run it without infringing on patents.
