It would appear as though some online retailers are starting to make unlocked HTC Legends available to the public, and they’re compatible with North American 3G bands. At least one retailer, Negri Electronics, is selling these 850 / 1900 MHz 3G band phones for a hefty$498.50, before tax and shipping. At such a substantial price tag, some may be more apt to go for something a little higher in the specs department, but fans of the HTC Legend looking for an unlocked version in the U.S. will probably be all over this.
