Samsung Vibrant sees bugfixes thanks to KB5 update through Kies Mini

Have a Samsung Vibrant with some bugs? Well, hopefully your woes are handled, as a new update has slipped in via Kies Mini. Sure, T-Mo isn’t telling us exactly what bugs are fixed in update T959UVKB5 (or KB5), but, hey… who needs those kinds of details, right? </sarcasm>

The update cannot be received OTA, so it looks like you’ll have no choice but to bust out that Kies Mini and do it all up manually. Be sure to let us know how the update process goes!

    Update went smoothly. Been having trouble w/ TWLauncher errors and I’m hoping this will fix it. So far it looks good and stable but only been using it for 15 or 20 minutes.

    No problems whatsoever. The update process took about 25 minutes, the phone rebooted and so far, the only thing I’ve
    Noticed is the t-mobile logo is silent at start up when the phone is in silent mode.I’m hoping there is more. But I’m not gonna hold my breath.

    After the update my wifi has started giving me errors. Many times it just refuses to switch on. At other times it just goes off to sleep and the net stops working. Does anyone else also have this problem?

    @Bono,

    Well mine was doing all that stuff and I was hoping that the update would fix it. Damn!
