During the HTC event held in London today, news broke forth that our friends over in Europe should be receiving a visit from the HTC Flyer on May 9th. You’ll be able to pick up the device for approximately £599 or so which is what Carphone Warehouse has it listed at. No word yet as to when we’ll see the device manifest as the Sprint Evo View Tablet in the US, but we’re hopeful it’s around the corner. And who knows, maybe we could see the device land on T-Mobile US or UK. In addition, keep in mind that you’ll be able to purchase a WiFi only version of the device at your local Best Buy around Spring time. Think you’ll grab this device over Honeycomb devices? Let us know what you think in the comments below.

- 1.3MP front-facing camera for video calling, Skype is preinstalled
- When the specs were received the device was running Gingerbread, but it just may be running Android 3.0 Honeycomb
- A remodeled version of HTC Sense that is more desktop-like
- HSPA connectivity (T-Mobile 4G?)
