Verizon Wireless Samsung Droid Charge gets a new red eye

It was confirmed from the Verizon spring roadmap, that what we thought was the Samsung Stealth, is officially the Droid Charge. More confirmation comes from the above photo that shows the Charge showing off a new Droid “red eye.” I think it is safe to say that this is going to be part of the Droid lineup.

Up until now Motorola and HTC had the only phones marketed with the Droid name, but only Motorola phones were marketed with the red-eye.

The Droid Charge has mostly the same specs as the Galaxy S, except for the bigger 4.3-inch screen and 4G LTE compatibility. According to the Verizon spring roadmap the Droid Charge will be released on April 7.

Doesn’t look very droidlike to me. When I think Droid I think industrial and nonrounded. Think the Droid x or even the incredible. Plus, im not a fan of the overly plastic designs from samsung.

Actually, the HTC Droid incredible also has the red eye, not just Motorola. Your information is incorrect.

Interesting because the marketing pictures do not show an eye.
