A few months back, we showed you our hands on video and images for the Samsung Galaxy Player which we saw at CES 2011 back in January. It looks like the time has finally come around for us to get our official hands on it, as we hear from Samsung that this will be available in the US coming this Spring, which is really just a few days away.
This is Samsung’s way of making competition a little more fierce against Apple’s iPod Touch, as this is essentially just that, running Android 2.2 out of the box, and upgradeable to Gingerbread soon after.
I’ll say this…if Samsung wants to make a run at Apple’s iOS devices, they’re going to to have to develop a better program to sync/purchase music than the current ‘Kies’ program. It sucks to put it bluntly.
