OnePlus execs accidentally leak images of black, white versions of OnePlus 6

Next week OnePlus will be launching their next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 6. Leaks and rumors about the devices have been coming in steadily. The latest one appears to be quite accidental even though it came from two high-level OnePlus executives including none other than Pete Lau himself.

In the images, Pete Lau and Amitabh Bachchan are seen holding OnePlus smartphones. Based on examination of the images and comparing them to previous leaks of the OnePlus 6, sources are fairly certain that is the device the men are holding. The devices include vertically stacked sensors for the rear dual-camera, a small fingerprint sensor and the OnePlus logo.

Although difficult to make out, the black version pictured appears to have a glass back, which was a design choice previously hinted at. The white variant appears to have a sandstone material for the back, which would be similar to the OnePlus 5T. OnePlus is also planning a special Avengers Limited Edition model for the Indian market.

Mr. Bachchan is a brand ambassador for OnePlus in India. The images were posted to his Twitter account and the post has since been deleted. Of course, the Internet being what it is, the deletion did not occur before people were able to grab the images.

Be sure to stick with us next week on May 16th and May 17th as OnePlus officially unveils the OnePlus 6.
