Opera VPN app for Android and iOS is shutting down on April 30, 2018

The Opera VPN app for both Android and iOS will be permanently discontinued at the end of April, but Opera has ensured that an alternative is available for existing users demanding a high level of privacy. They’ve turned to SurfEasy and all Opera Gold users will get a free one-year subscription to SurfEasy Ultra VPN.

SurfEasy Ultra offers unlimited use on up to five devices, a strict no-log policy and access to 28 regions. SurfEasy is also available on more than just Android and iOS devices, supporting Windows, Mac and Amazon devices as well. And If you’re not on the Opera Gold plan, you can still get an 80% discount on SurfEasy Total VPN through the latest Opera VPN app on Android and iOS.

SurfEasy was founded in 2011 and guarantees a 99.9% uptime both regionally and globally. It has a class leading ad tracker/blocker and never logs browsing or downloading activity (like some other VPNs). You can find a full list of features here.

If you have additional questions or need help transitioning to SurfEasy, you can contact Opera at support@operavpn.com.
