According to serial leaker Evan Blass, who gained the information from an executive at a case making company, Samsung is planning on launching the Galaxy S9 and S9+ on February 26 at MWC 2018. There’s a little wiggle room on this date because phone launches generally happen the weekend before MWC officially opens its doors, so the February 26 date could be the date of the launch according to the time zone in Seoul, Korea, which would make it Sunday, February 25 over here in Europe. Personally, I think it will be held on February 25, which is a Sunday and traditionally the day that the big phone launches occur.
According to Evan Blass’ source, pre-orders are slated to begin from March 3rd, with orders beginning to ship out from March 16. It’s quite likely that the same time zone difference also applies to the pre-order and shipping dates.
Are you looking forward to the Galaxy S9?
