As we know Google I/O is sold out, but today Vic Gundotra has announced a new contest called Last Call for Google I/O. It kicks of Wednesday, March 16 for 10 days. There will be 10 developer challenges and 100 chances to win tickets to Google I/O 2011.
Google will announce a new challenge on select dates. 10 winners will be awarded for each date. Challenges have 2 rounds. Round I will be about a half-hour and you will need to be in front of your computer to answer a series of questions. This qualifies you for round II which will be all about coding. Round II will need to be completed within 20 hours.
Google wants to make sure as many developers as possible are given the opportunity to go to Google I/O. The contest is valid in the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Winners will be announced on April 4.

- March 17 – Chrome, 9:00 am
- March 18 – App Engine, 9:00 am
- March 21 – YouTube APIs, 9:00 am
- March 22 – Game Developers, 9:00 am
- March 23 – Google Maps / Geo, 4:00 pm
- March 24 – Commerce, 9:00 am
- March 25 – Developer Tools / GWT, 9:00 am
- March 28 – Accessibility, 4:00 pm
- March 29 – Google Apps / Enterprise, 4:00 pm
